Denem si tetas oyale pedemun gunah
Si’er sengkerat ayat; ari mik mesjid sut samut
i inpres, lekat banan penjeje ulung ni salam
jelobok ni santanpé mujembuel ari asap daput
tekorék pemulo i kampung

Rindu yang tetas ialah debar pertemuan
gaung sepotong ayat; dari toak masjid sahut- menyahut
di inpres, lekat wanita penjaja daun salam
pun aroma santan pengepul asap dapur
sahur pertama di kampung
